Why families love it

  • The boat reaches speeds of up to 35 miles per hour, combining white-knuckle thrills with spectacular views of Tower Bridge and the Thames Barrier.
  • Your skipper provides entertaining commentary about London's history between the high-speed bursts, making it both educational and absolutely exhilarating.
  • The RIB's open design means children get properly wet from the spray, so waterproofs are provided and genuinely needed for this adventure.

Best for

Families with confident swimmers aged eight and above who want an adrenaline-pumping alternative to traditional sightseeing and don't mind getting splashed.

Good to know

Book the earliest departure you can manage as the Thames gets choppier later in the day, which can be uncomfortable for some children. The boarding pontoon moves with the tide, so allow extra time if you have anyone nervous about stepping onto floating platforms. Cameras and phones need to go in the provided dry bags as you will get wet, and despite the waterproofs, wear layers underneath as the wind chill is real.
